Stoopid Yellow Bird

I was napping with Tana before when I had a really assed out dream.

Like, I was all set to take my geo final and was all prepared and then I ended up just sitting down and watching the clock and not realizing it was time to take the final until like 20 minutes later. I called my ride and freaked out saying that now I needed to make up some excuse because I needed to take it on that day because I was moving, maybe I got in to a car accident or something when these fricken birds that thought they were all like gangsta that were apparently living underneath my dresser started harassing me.

Now, it seems I knew these birds since I hated them with such a passion. Anyway, head yellow bird kept making advances at me and like snapping at me with its beak thing. So, naturally after like the 30th time I went to snatch it, it caught my finger and started chowing on it. The brilliant person I am grabbed its neck and started choking it only to realize that like it wasnt easy to kill because it was made of like wire and I ended up tearing all the cartledge/skin/tissue off my finger to where just the bone was there, while the stupid bird stared all crooked at me cuz its neck was broken. I was like you mofo and chucked bits of skin at the stoopid yellow cracked out shithead.

So, there I am, late for my final with the skin of my index finger missing and I'm half panicked and half relieved that I have an injury to explain to my professor why I was late for my final. That's when I woke up all fucked up. I dunno. So, there is that.

I am finding a problem though, with me, like when it comes down to me picking some booze to buy I'm simply overwhelmed. Like, I want everything. No, really, everything. I am far less of a drunk now then a year ago. A year ago I was drinking every day. Shut up, shit's good. I bought some Jameson. Mmm Jameson... smooooooth. I also grabbed a 6'er of pabst, and rum.
Tonight will be fun. The ladies re coming over after Tana gets out of work at 7. I'm gonna nap the rest of the day and watch tv. I have to be at work at 7:30 tomorrow morning so I can't stay up SUPER super late. We'll see though.

Acute...hang on..

A lifetime even as short as mine has been so far that is full of stress, disappointments, and heartache can cause serious weakening of the heart muscles to the point of congestive heart failure and death. Sometimes, like right now, I feel the swelling pain in my chest more than others. I get so nervous that one day I'm really going to die of a broken heart and it's not one person causing this at all.

Like I said, it's what my life has been up until now and sometimes I just want it to be over with so at 3:30 in the morning I'm not feeling empty, alone, and despondent with tingling down my left arm, shortness of breath and searing pain in the left side of my chest.

The smallest, tiniest, most miniscule thing can drag me down 8 feet under the earth and destroy a good night. I wish it were only emotional pain. Now I'm gonna take an aspirin, drink a glass of water, and take a sleeping pill so I can forget for a little while the things that are hurting me so bad.

I will deal with those feelings tomorrow. No, I will. Like I said, it's not any one person. It's not even anyone I saw tonight. Quite the contrary. The vast majority of my friends are reasons I keep holding on. Don't be surprised if I take a little maintenance vacation quietly away from everyone. From literally everyone I know for a week or two very soon. It would be a great thing for me. Trust me.

I faught off the urge to gussy myself up and take a new pic earlier. Like, I think I'm a little WAY into my own self promotion on here. Like, I won't lie, I kinda like looking at my own pictures cuz it's not how I look every day and I think I do look nice when I make the effort. Right now I'm wearing a red camo t-shirt and sweatpants and yeah my hair, yipe. No good. I probably have big huge suitcases under my eyes too. I would not want to see me. is there something real bad in the air? Nothing is sitting real well with me. I am exhausted but I can't fall asleep. There's nothing but tragedies floating around in my mind. Sleepy times

Tonight I watched The Royal Tenenbaum's for the first time. One of my friends just broke up with his girlfriend and was feeling blue, so I rented it, called him (it is his favorite movie), and made him watch it with me over the phone. He said the idea was stupid but he didn't hang up, I think it was a success. The movie was awesome and I can't believe it was the one Wes Anderson movie I had never seen. I'm a fan of his and had never quite had the time or motivation to see it until now. I recommend it. I think it has made its way among my top twenty all time favorite movies.

In other news, Chase slept over last night. This morning he woke me up close to six this morning by stealing ALL of the covers. So, naturally, I kicked him to give them back, twice. After that failed, I pushed him off the bed. Literally. Afterwards, we were both awake and couldn't go back to sleep, so we went to his house for breakfast. His mom made us Waffles and we hung out with his daughter. Then his brother came to pick her up for an outing in the city and Chase and I went to my house and ordered Thai. It was all very lovely. That pretty much sums it up.

Fine Wednesday, November 08, 2006 Wordless Wednesday Monday, November 06, 2006 Feeble days. So, it is definite, Chase leaves for California on Dec. 28th. He called up moving companies on Sat. and got quotes. I was at his house all weekend, I spent some time with his daughter. I'm getting better at the being around kids thing. I feel a little more comfortable about her now. Saturday night, Claire's grandparents (her mom's parents) picked her up to spend the night. So Chase and I said good night to his parents and went back to my place. He told me that he didn't want leave with our relationship up in the air. He wants us to still date while he is in California. He was like, it's not forever, 6 months to a year, he said that there are weekends that he could visit me, phones, mail. He told me after I graduate, I could go and spend the summer with him and Claire. It all sounds very good, but I guess it is something I have to wait and see on. Sunday comes and Chase's mom calls him and tells him he has to come home because she and his dad are going out, and one of his dogs, Benji, was throwing up. We think he ate a plant out something in the backyard. While we were stuck at his house, Chase invited his friend Eric over with his girlfriend. They came over, and everything was going good, until I became very depresed. I went into Chase's room and started crying. Sarah followed me in and I have this habit that I've had since I was a kid, I go into the closet when I cry. Chase knows about it, and now Sarah and Eric know about it. Anyway, Sarah sat next to me outside the closet and cried with me for like an hour. She's having problems too, so we had a very cathartic cry. After, we went back outside with Chase and Eric, and to make us feel better, the guys let us paint their toenails pink. That was pretty much the extent of our weekend. I have a lot of school work to catch up on. Friday, November 03, 2006 Piles of ink Today has been productive. I've gotten into the habit of waking up every hour during the night and finally by 6am, calling it quits on sleep and starting my day. So, today, at 6 I starting reading two weeks worth of NY Times papers that I have been putting off. I got about halfway through before it was time fo me to head to work. Work was busy, I work in the library at a local high school. I had to help the librarians today with their workshop schedule. During period 6 a group of kids ran by the room and threw a donut inside. Have I mentioned that I love teenagers lately? Especially teenagers in the afternoon on a friday? Anyway, after work I came back home and finished my pile of papers. And that, thus far, has been the extent of my day. Now I must write a paper for class and read a bunch of student stories. I am also working on a story that my Professor recommended I submit for publication to a campus magazine so off I go. Chase is dropping by later after work, so I do have that to look foward to. Thursday, November 02, 2006 Thursday Thirteen Thirteen Things Chase finds weird about me 1. I have never eaten an egg by itself only mixed into things (i.e. cake, breading) 2. I have a fear of sharks hiding beneath the grating at the bottom of pools. 3. I've never owned or used a purse. Something I am currently looking to change. 4. Everytime I got to the book store I have to leave with three books. 5. I pick most of the meat out of my food. 6. I can recite all 50 states in 3 minutes. 7. I own every type of Sharpie...in every color every type. 8. I don't own a TV. 9. I can sign the national anthem. 10. I have a crippling obsession for Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Lattes. 11. Normally I go in at 10 for my first class, but this week the Professor will be in Cali so we have no class. Chase called me this morning to see if I need a ride to campus. I didn't. He said he'd call me later before his class. His class starts at 6:30 right when my classes finish. Chase and I have a very severe case of bad timing. A timeline: April 2006: Chase applies for an internship in Cali. June 2006: Chase and I met in a 4 week Geology crash course. July 2006: I finally agree to go on a date with him after weeks of him asking. Aug 2006: We begin offically dating. Sept 2006: He tells me he applied for an out of state intership and he will find out in Oct. if he was accepted. I want to break up with him but I agreed to wait and see. Oct 2006: He finds out he was accepted and leaves for Cali. on Dec. 28 . If we met earlier he wouldn't be leaving for 6 months to a year and a half. If I wasn't so close to graduating I could go with him. But the problem is I should be graduating in June, and after that, due to a terrible lack of funds on my part, I am moving back down to FL - to move back in with my parents. *Insert horror shriek here* It's a very scary thought for all of us. Though it should only be for like a year until I can go for my masters. Lately, people have been telling me horror stories of what it was like for them to move back in with their parents after being away at college. Not good. Sunday, October 29, 2006 Idyllic Pancakes Today was crazy. Chase woke up at 5:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. I live in a studio apt, so there isn't another room he can go into so that I can sleep in quiet. Needless to say, what my brilliant bofriend does is sit next to me on the bed and poke me until I smack him. After seeing that this doesn't work he pulls the covers off of me and fights with me until he's sure I won't be able to fall back asleep. Nice. Anyway, he told me he fixed all the clocks (daylight savings) and that he is planning on leaving my house at 10:00 to go to Jersey and pick up his daughter. It's so weird to think that he's going to be in Cali after Christmas for 6 months. I'm so afarid I'll never see him again. Or that I will and we won't be the same people anymore. I made him pancakes for breakfast. I've been making pancakes alot lately. I think I become Susie Homemake when I make pancakes. I like that feeling and I don't want to lose it. Last week I made pumpkin muffins and cookies for Claire (his daughter) and his family. Tomorrow I am suppose to go over there and carve the pumpkin with them. I just don't know how much closer I should allow myself to get to them because he's leaving. It's not fair to his daughter, and it isn't fair to me. Chase and I talk don't really discuss what's going to happen to us when he leaves. We imply that we're going to stay together, but I'm not sure it's realistic.
